As part of the Product Development Team, I’ve seen this wall kit installed many times and I want to share tips to avoid common pitfalls and make the job go more smoothly:

Prepare your wall surface: These walls can be glued on many wall surfaces, like drywall, plaster, painted walls, plywood, etc. Wall surface must be dry, solid, clean and smooth and it's recommended that that raw plaster or wall board be primed or watersealed prior to installation.

Dry-fit before gluing: Lay out all panels in place (without adhesive) first to confirm fit, alignment, and clearance, especially around plumbing and corners.

Trim carefully: Ensure a minimum ½″ overlap between panels. Side walls and back walls can be trimmed for smaller tubs, but do not cut corner panels. Score panels several times with a sharp knife along a straight edge, then gently bend to break—avoid cutting in a single pass.

Apply adhesive: Apply adhesive to flat wall-contact areas and spread using a serrated spreader. Do not come within less than an inch of the moulded sections and panel edges. Don’t make closed loops to prevent air pockets.

Seal edges thoroughly: Apply silicone in all joints, top edges, and transitions to prevent water infiltration. You can use masking tape on all vertical seams to have great looking joints.

With careful prep and methodical work, installers (both homeowners and professionals) can achieve a quick and durable installation that holds up well over time.
