This handy standard receptacle tester features a compact, comfortable, contoured design with neon indicators that display positive indication of circuit status. Compact unit simply plugs into any standard 3-wire/grounded receptacle (110 to 125 VAC circuits) and a succession of yellow and red lights provides indication of circuit status or specifies wiring errors. Lamps reveal 5 common wiring errors including open ground, open neutral, open hot, hot/ground reverse, hot/neutral reverse, as well as correct wiring. Easy to read status chart displayed on both top and bottom of the tester for multiple position viewing. Designed for use on standard outlets and extension cords.
